Veterans Appreciation Picnic
Join us for an afternoon of fun, food and outdoor activities
at the gorgeous Brighton State Recreation Area.
All the food and activities, such as horseshoes, canoeing, archery
and more, will be available for FREE to Livingston County veterans
and their families. A resource area will be on-site to provide information on activities and organizations serving the veteran community.
Meet at Chilson Pond behind the park headquarters, located at 6360 Chilson Road in Howell. Veterans' vehicles do not require a Recreation Passport for entry, however all other vehicles will require one. Contact the park at 810-229-6566 for more information.
