This community partnership is a health awareness event dedicated to educate the public and our employees on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Many people who work in the human service field are at a risk for health issues such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and substance use of tobacco and/or alcohol. Spectrum Human Services and Affiliated Companies would like to inform their staff and the community of positive ways to remain healthy while taking care of others. This health awareness event will provide information to assist people in creating a healthy program to live by.
Spectrum Community Services provides community-based, residential treatments for mentally and physically disabled individuals while Spectrum Child and Family Services concentrates on child welfare to children, youth and families to improve the lives of children by strengthening and empowering the family unit. Spectrum Juvenile Justice Services delivers residential treatment programs to rehabilitate chronically delinquent youthful offenders.
