Goodbye White Lake-Highland

After three years, Patch Editor Brooke Tajer says goodbye.

After more than three years with Patch, I’m moving on.

As some of you know, I was part of a company-wide reorganization. My last day with Patch is Oct. 15.

It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. For the last three years I’ve had the great pleasure, and honor, of covering both communities. I’ve enjoyed countless school board and township meetings – made many friends along the way – and thoroughly enjoyed attending events around town.

While this is goodbye from a professional standpoint, you’ll still see me around town – White Lake is, after all, my home.

So what’s going to happen now that I’m gone?

You can continue to post to White Lake-Highland Patch in the events, blogs and boards sections. In the coming weeks, your new Patch liaison will be introduced on the site. That person will be here to answer any questions you have about posting to the site, and drawing attention to your events, blog posts and announcements.

Last, but not least, THANK YOU!!

Without you guys, White Lake-Highland Patch would not exist. I couldn't have asked for a better group of readers these last three years. YOU are what makes this place so special and I will miss you all.
