Got Talent Finals Set for April 16

Huron Valley Council for the Arts (HVCA) and Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education co-host the third annual finals of “Got Talent?” an event tailored after the popular show, America’s Got Talent, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 at the Milford High School Center for Performing Arts, 2380 Milford Road in Highland.

“Over 77 performers auditioned in January at the open auditions, now we are down to the top 15,” said Leah Ohmer, HVCA executive director. “These performers have put in a lot of blood, sweat and tears to win the $1000 prize and now the community has the chance to see them compete in a spectacular Final Show. If someone is a fan of television talent competitions, this local live version is not to be missed!”

Event proceeds “will go to support the community programming provided by HVCA and the HVRCE as we collaborate to expand arts and cultural education in our region,” Ohmer added.
