Art on Haven Hill and Lodge History Display Saturday, October 19

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area are proud to present a small photographic exhibit of Haven Hill Flora and Fauna as well as a Haven Hill Lodge History display on Saturday, October 19. Local area amateur photographer and Friends group member Jay Fitzgerald will be presenting some of his photos for public enjoyment. The Haven Hill Lodge footprint will be set up with historic photos and information about the history of Edsel and Eleanor Fords’ once great country estate.

The fall color season is a wonderful time for beautiful walks up on Haven Hill, and the photo exhibit will be set up along the road for your enjoyment on your way to the Carriage House and Lodge footprint. Parking for guests will be at the “circle lot” near the sledding hill. The event will be held from 10 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 19.
