This year’s event will include an 1860’s vintage base ball game, summer foods, the Novi Brass Band, vintage cars and tractors, Haven Hill history displays, children’s activities, a Haven Hill natural area photographic display, and folks dressed in period costumes. This years' Festival is to be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 between 10 am and 3 pm.

The Haven Hill Festival takes place within the Highland State Recreation Area, at the Goose Meadow Picnic site. Auxiliary functions will be held throughout the park. The park can be entered on 5200 Highland Road, M-59 between Duck Lake and Bogey Lake roads. The park is divided across both Highland and White Lake Townships.

The Haven Hill Festival is provided to the public with no ticket charge as entry into the state park is now via the Recreation Passport on your license plate. Day passes are available at a nominal fee at the entrance to the recreation area if you do not have a Recreation Passport on your license plate. Parking is available at the Goose Meadow Picnic area and the surrounding entrance roads.
