Today we can expect sunny skies with a high near 65, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday night there will be a chance of showers after 2 a.m. Skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 49.

2. Gas Prices

The cheapest gas in White Lake is $3.95 per gallon at Meijer's gas station, 6001 Highland Road, according to Detroit Gas Prices as of Tuesday evening. The cheapest gas in Highland is $3.93 per gallon at Citgo, 2650 S. Milford Road. 

3. Tail Waggin Tutors

Register now for tail waggin tutors at the White Lake Township Library. From the library, "These lovable dogs make great listeners and reading to a therapy dog helps build confidence and self-esteem in a fun, non-judgmental environment." The White Lake Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Township Hall. There is only one item on the agenda, a zoning variance request for the Gin Mill Party Store renovation.
