Opening Day of White Lake Farmers Market Saturday

Head out to the White Lake Farmers Market May 5 and celebrate Cinco de Mayo with flowers, food and fun.

In its second year, the White Lake Farmers Market is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Opening day is Saturday, May 5, and the following vendors will be at , near the Lakeland High School campus, selling their goods:

  • Bonnie George, selling cross-stitched items like aprons, bibs, place-mats, coasters, pet collars, and rice bag heat therapy.
  • JoAnne English, selling honey, crafts, plants, fruit, candy, tin men crafts, and leather goods.
  • D&C Enterprise, selling cedar benches, planters, and pot heads.
  • Stone Cold Statuary, selling concrete statuary and lawn/garden decor.
  • Charlie Brown Face Painting will be on hand offering face painting services.
  • Jen's Ugly Pies, selling pies and other assorted baked goods, such as muffins and breads.
  • Roeske Farms, selling vegetables, meat, fruit and eggs.
  • Uncle Peter's Pasties, selling frozen pasties and gravy.
  • My Dad's Butterflies, selling butterflies/dragonflies nightlights, sun-catchers, garden wires, hair clips, pins, and eye-glass holders all made from recycled plastic bottles.
  • Miller's Pines, selling tortilla chips, cookies, caramel corn and granola.
  • Big Nick's Hot Dogs, selling lemonade. 

The market, located in the parking lot of White Lake Middle School, runs every Saturday, from May to October, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
