Got Something to Say? Blog About It on Patch!

Hey White Lake and Highland: We're looking for people to blog for us. If you have something to share—ideas, opinions, expertise, witticisms—let us know.

Your White Lake-Highland Patch is looking for bloggers, and strong community voices are needed.

Are you passionate about something in White Lake or Highland? Contact us. Whether it's food, family, education, government, business, social issues, shopping, running or hamster training techniques— if it's your thing, we'd like you to consider blogging for Patch.

Anyone may apply. Moms, dads, grandparents, favorite aunties, shopkeepers, baristas, dog trainers, business owners, nonprofit organizers, and government officials—here’s a chance to share your expertise and your voice. Don't be shy! Get in touch with us about your idea. We want to hear what you have to say.

Patch bloggers are not paid and will own their content. So, if you are already blogging and want to share with our readers, too, let us know. Or maybe you're brand new to the idea. That's OK, too. We'll help you get started.

This is a chance to share your expertise and opinions with a wider audience! Contact Local Editor Brooke Meier if you are interested in being a part of the conversation. Let us hear from you.

every township in Oakland County has asked for wage consessions or reduced personel except White Lake. They just keep hiring and raising taxes every other year. It is time to look at every elected offical and should be time for a change no matter how long they have been in office. Come to the board meeting tomorrow and see for yourself how your vote counts. You do not have a voice with the current board. It is time to change the old guard. They can collect thier pensions and life time health benefits after serving terms. If only the private sector had the same benifits we would not need Obama care.
