Car Goes Through Fence At Ivory Farms in White Lake

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A 35-year-old Commerce man was arrested on charges of drunken driving after police say he crashed his car through the fence of Ivory Farms in White Lake Dec. 10 at 2:30 a.m.

According to the report filed with the White Lake Police Department, the man failed to stop at Carol Lake Road near Cooley Lake in White Lake and drove through the fence at Ivory Farms.

The driver was given field sobriety tests by police when they arrived on the scene and - according to the report - he failed.

The man was given a preliminary breath test and registered a .19 blood alcohol level. The legal limit is .08

The man was arrested on charges of operating while under the influence of alcohol and lodged in Oakland County Jail.

According to the report, the prosecutor is reviewing the case.
