The following information was supplied by the White Lake Township Police Department. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A 25-year-old woman from Commerce and a 26-year-old man from Waterford were arrested Tuesday after loss-prevention officers at recognized the two, from surveillance footage, as wanted in connection with a Nov. 8 theft from the store.

Lt. Adam Kline said the couple was detained Tuesday until police officers arrived, after the couple returned to the store. At that time, the two were arrested and taken to the police station, where they were held pending the issuance of charges and arraignment.

Kline said store surveillance cameras showed the two taking a purse Nov. 8.
