Equipment Damaged Following Dispute At Church

were called to Monday to help settle a small dispute between employees of a construction company, and a man who's company leases land at the church for excavation.

Currently, White Lake Presbyterian Church members lease the land they own behind the church to an excavation company. That company excavates soil from that land.

According to the report, the construction employees told police they received permission from the church to park their equipment at the church while they were working on the , and to dump the dirt from the construction at the church site. A man with the company that's leasing the land at the church, the report states, did not feel the church members had the authority to give permission to the construction employees.

Lt. Adam Kline said the construction employees agreed to move their equipment.

When the employees returned to the church at 8 p.m. to gather their equipment, they reported that several of the batteries from the construction equipment were missing, and one of the fuel pumps on one the vehicles had been damaged.

The incident remains under investigation, there are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 248-698-4400.

Window broken out at local business

Police were called to on Friday, March 30, after a manager reported a window broken out.

According to the report, one of the garage bay windows was broken and a small marble like rock was found nearby.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
