Fire Department Reviewing ISO Rating

This is the first time the ISO rating has been reviewed since the early 1908's according to the White Lake Fire Department.

Residents in White Lake could soon see lower property insurance rates as a result of an ISO rating review being conducted by the White Lake Township Fire Department.

According to fire Cpt. Ted Lilley, this is the first time the ISO rating has undergone review since the early 1980's, "It's been a long time, and we expect that the new rate will have some benefits for our residents."

The whole process could take anywhere from six months to one year to complete, Lilley said, but he expects the new rating to be lower than it is currently - resulting in lower property insurance rates for the township.
