Item Taken from White Lake Barn

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A generator has been reported stole from a barn in White Lake.

According to a report filed with the White Lake Police Department, the generator went missing Feb. 13 from a barn on the 9000 block of Pontiac Lake Road.

The homeowner told police he heard a loud noise at 2 a.m. and looked outside. He didn't see anything, the report states, but he did hear what sounded like someone shutting the tailgate of a truck and he heard a truck with a loud exhaust take off.

When he checked the barn in the morning, the generator was gone. The generator is valued at $500.

The incident remains under investigation.
