Lottery Tickets Taken From 2 Highland Businesses

The following information was supplied by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Highland Substation. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

Deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Highland Substation responded to an alarm just after midnight, Feb. 24, at a local party store.

According to the report, when police arrived the clerk at the store on the 1000 block of Milford Road told police a person entered the store and grabbed a number of lottery tickets. The suspect then ran from the store.

A K-9 unit was called in to track the suspect, and tracked the persons trail for 45 minutes before losing the track, the report states.
