Mailboxes Vandalized; Two Breaking and Enterings Reported in White Lake

The following information was supplied by the White Lake Township Police Department. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

At least two mailboxes on the 2000 block of Rosario were spraypainted sometime during the late night hours on Oct. 22 and the early morning hours of Oct. 23, according to White Lake Police.

Chief Edward Harris said the mailboxes, and the Village Acres entrance sign on Sussex, were vandalized.

There are no suspects at this time and the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 248-698-4400.

Garages broken into

Two breaking and enterings were reported over the weekend.

The first occurred sometime between noon on Oct. 20 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 22 on Lake Grove.

Harris said someone broke into the detached garage of a home on the 5300 block of Lake Grove and took several rifle scopes, an assortment of tools and sporting equipment.

There are no suspects at this time. The incident remains under investigation.

The second breaking and entering occurred sometime between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Oct. 21.

According to the report, someone entered the open garage of a home on the 9000 block of Artdale and took a mountain bike and kayak.
