Motorcycle Taken from White Lake, Recovered in Highland

A $1,200 motorcycle was reported missing from a White Lake barn, and a thrown pumpkin damages a vehicle in Friday's crime report.

White Lake Police were called to a home on the 4000 block of Eagle Road in White Lake after a motorcycle was reported missing from a barn at the home - the motorcycle was later recovered by deputies in Highland.

According to the report, the incident happened sometime between Nov. 5 and Nov. 6.

The report states someone cut open the lock on the home's barn, and took a 2003 Honda XR motorcycle.

Later in the evening on Nov. 6, deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office found the motorcycle in a field in Highland - not far from the barn where it was taken.

Lt. Adam Kline said the motorcycle was returned to the owner and that there appeared to be no damage to the motorcycle. The incident remains under investigation.

Thrown pumpkin damages vehicle

A thrown pumpkin caused $200 worth of damage after hitting a car on the 6000 block of Hickory Trail in White Lake.

According to the report, the incident happened sometime between Nov. 7 and Nov. 8.

The pumpkin was thrown at a Jeep Cherokee and a garbage can. There was no damage to the garbage can, but the light over the license place on the car was busted by the pumpkin.

Kline said police have a person of interests, and that the incident remains under investigation.
