Naked Man Struggles With Police Officer Before Arrest

A 19-year-old Clarkston resident was arrested early Sunday after fighting with a officer.

Lt. Don Nankervis said police were called to a home on the east side of the township after a woman said a man stripped down to nothing but a sock and began to masturbate and urinate on her porch.

The police report said the man initially knocked on the 66-year-old woman's door at 4:45 a.m. The woman told police she did not answer at that time. According to the report, the man continued to knock, and she asked him to leave.

The report states that he continued to knock, and the woman called 911. During that call, the woman told the operator that the man had stripped off his clothes and was touching himself, the report said.

When an officer arrived on the scene, he found the man, naked, on the woman's porch, Nankervis said.

The officer attempted to arrest the man, and a struggle ensued, Nankervis said. A backup officer arrived on the scene, and the two officers were able to subdue the man, Nankervis said.

According to the report, the man told police he had been taking drugs at a house party in the area prior to coming to the woman's house.

The man was arrested and taken to Oakland County Jail. He was arraigned Sunday on one count of aggravated indecent exposure, a one-year misdemeanor. He was released on bond.
