Police: 3 White Lake Men Beaten, Suspects at Large

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake Police were called to Cedarbrook Estates after a witness reported seeing an assault and battery.

The incident happen at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 24.

According to the report, three teens, ages 16 and 14, were walking down the street when two males, both 23, approached them.

The report states that one of the 23-year-olds accused one of the 16-year-olds of being inappropriate with his niece. The report states that the two 23-year-olds then began to punch and kick the 16-year-old.

At that time, the 14-year-old and second 16-year-old jumped in to defend their friend. The two 23-year-olds punch and kicked them as well, the report states.

A witness called police, according to the report, and the two 23-year-olds took off before officers arrived on the scene.

The three teens refused medical attention.

Lt. Adam Kline said the two suspects are known to have ties to a gang from Flint. Officers have been attempting to locate the two since the incident and are seeking warrants to arrest them for assault and battery.
