Police Blotter: Drunken Driving and a Minor in Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the White Lake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An 18-year-old was cited for being a minor in possession on Thursday at 7:45 p.m. after officers from the White Lake Police Department observed him walking down Terrain, yelling and flailing his arms, Chief Edward Harris said.

Harris said the teen consented to a portable breath test and registered a .14 blood-alcohol content.

"We brought him to the station and held him until he was sober enough to be released with his citation," Harris said.

Man arrested for third operating while under the influence charge

A 35-year-old Pontiac resident was arrested on Ormond after driving erratically on Thursday at 3:49 a.m., police said. The man, George Lee Brown, was later arraigned on charges of operating while under the influence, third offense; driving with a suspended license, second offense; and giving a false identification.

Harris said police observed the man driving down the center of the road.

When stopped by police, Brown was asked to exit the vehicle, Harris said.

According to the police report, Brown told the officer he had taken some Vicodin and Valium and drank about 10 beers.

Brown consented to a breath test and registered a .14 blood-alcohol content. The legal limit for driving in Michigan is .08.

Brown was subsequently arrested and arraigned by video. His bond was set at $10,000.
