Police Blotter: Retail Fraud at Walmart

The suspect allegedly took more than $900 in merchandise.

White Lake are looking for help in identifying a man who appears on security tapes allegedly taking more than $900 in merchandise from .

According to Lt. Adam Kline, the man, who is still at large, is between the ages of 23 and 30 with a fair complexion, medium build and short brown hair. He was driving a red two-door vehicle and was wearing baggy khaki pants and a dark plaid jacket.

The man entered the Walmart at 9:58 p.m. Feb. 16 and loaded a shopping cart with various items, including ramen noodles, Grey Goose vodka, paper towels, several cans of SpaghettiOs and a Hewlett-Packard touch-screen computer, Kline said.

"He exited the store with $941 in merchandise and did not pay," Kline said. The man is seen on camera loading the items into his vehicle and speeding away.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 248-698-4400.
