Police Discover Home Invasion at Vacant Home

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake Police found a a door forced open at a vacant home in White Lake.

According to the report, police checked the home on Feb. 2 and the alarm was going off. There were no signs of forced entry at that time and police contacted the person who owns the house to let him know about the alarm. The owner told police he'd take care of it.

On Feb. 5 police checked on the vacant home again, and found the front door had been forced open and the alarm was going off again.

The report states that all of the copper piping was missing from the home.

The incident remains under investigation, there are no suspects at this time.
