Police Investigating Attempted Break-In at Local Business

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake police were called to Sherwin-Williams June 16 at 5 a.m. after an alarm was set off.

According to the police report, someone broke out one of the doors to the store with a hammer and set off the alarm.

The report states that the person then ran off and was gone when police arrived. Police searched the area but did not locate the person responsible.

Story employees did not notice anything missing from the store.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
