Police Looking For Man Wanted in Walmart Theft

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake Police are looking for information about a man who ran from Walmart Jan. 18 after being confronted by loss prevention officers outside the store.

According to the report, the man was witnessed by the officers inside the store gathering $40 in food items. The report states that the man then left the store with the items, but did not pay for them.

The loss prevention officers stopped the man outside the store, the report states, and the man took off running to the mobile home park across the street from the store along Fisk Road.

The man, according to the report, was between 28 and 30 years old, and was wearing blue jeans, a Carhartt jacket and black hat. He also had a goatee.

White Lake Police are reviewing sercurity tapes now, and the incident remains under investigation.
