Police Looking for Men Wanted In Connection to Retail Fraud

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

Three men are wanted for questioning in White Lake after White Lake Police say the men attempted to take computer parts from Walmart.

The report states that two men entered Walmart on Feb. 15, grabbed a cart and went to the electronics section. There, they placed external hard drives and other computer parts in the cart. They walked through the store with the items and ran into a third man. That man took the cart from the other two, the report states.

All three men then left the store without paying for the items, the report states.

The items in the cart were valued at $280.

A loss prevention officer tried stopping the men, according to the report, and chased them outside the store. Two of the men got away, the report states, but the officer caught the third man and struggled with him. A customer saw the struggle, the report states, and attempted to help the officer detain the man, but he was able to break free before police arrived.

The three men fled from the scene in a red pickup truck.

The items were recovered outside the store, and police are in the process of reviewing security camera footage.

The incident remains under investigation.
