Police: Man Tasered After Running from Police, Resisting Arrest

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A White Lake man was arraigned on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after White Lake Police said he resisted arrest Nov. 1.

According to the report, police were called to a home on the 3000 block of Duffield after neighbors told police there was a domestic situation at the home.

When police arrived, the report states that the man ran from the home on foot. Two officers chased the man and eventually were able to catch him.

The report states that the man started to resist arrest, and did not cooperate with the officers. After several warnings, the man was tasered by police, according to the report.

The man was arrested and had a warrant out from Milford. The woman at the home was bleeding, but did not want to speak with police, the report states.

The man was given a citation for resisting arrest, and a citation for disorderly conduct. He was arraigned Friday and released on a $500 bond.

Police said alcohol was a factor in the incident.
