Radio Detection Device Taken From Utility Worker

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake police were called to a home on the 700 block of Oxhill after a worker with USIC reported some equipment missing from a job site.

According to the report, the worker was at a home July 20 at 9 a.m. using a radio detection device to locate lines in the ground at the home. The worker told police, the report states, that he took a quick break and left the device behind. When he returned a short while later, the equipment was gone.

The device is estimated to be worth $500, the report states.

There are no suspects at this time.
