Saddle, Purse Reported Missing in White Lake

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A $3,800 saddle and a "substantial" amount of cash were reported missing Jan. 15 from a farm off McKeachie Road in White Lake.

According to the report, the saddle and a purse were left in an unlocked vehicle belonging to a woman from West Bloomfield.

The report states that the woman was gone for four hours and returned to find the items missing from the car. Included in the purse, along with the cash, were the woman's ID, credit cards and other items.

There are no suspects at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
