Deputies investigating road rage incident

Deputies were called to the McDonald's off Milford Road to diffuse a road rage incident.

According to the report, a woman, 42, was driving westbound on M-59 in a Chrysler when she said a black Pontiac Grand Prix was speeding and cut her off, nearly hitting her car.

The woman told deputies she honked her horn at the vehicle, and that the car slammed on its brakes when in front of her, the report states.

The driver and the passengers, who the woman described as teen males, then gave her the finger and yelled at her to pull over so they could beat her up, the report states.

The woman, according to the report, pulled into the McDonald's parking lot to get the car's license plate number. The car followed her into the lot, but then sped off and back onto M-59.

The woman gave deputies the plate number, and deputies are following up on the information. The incident remains under investigation.
