Two Home Invasions Reported in White Lake

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

At least two vacant homes were broken into in White Lake Township, according to police reports.

The first, a bank-owned home on the 8000 block of Newport, was broken into sometime between July 23 and Sept. 27.

The report states that an unknown person or group entered the home and stripped the kitchen and bathrooms of the home of all fixtures. The bank estimates the value to be approximately $19,500.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation, the report indicated.

A second bank owned home was broken into sometime between Sept. 18 and Sept. 25, according to police.

The report states someone entered the home on Elizabeth Lake Road by breaking out a front window. There was still property in the home from the previous owner, and several items appeared to be missing.

There are no suspects, and the incident remains under investigation.
