Wallet Taken then Returned Without Money at Local Store

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A wallet and $100 was taken while two women were shopping at Walmart Dec. 4.

According to a report filed with the White Lake Police Department, the wallet belonged so a woman with specials needs. She had been shopping at the store with her caregiver.

The wallet was turned in to the service desk at Walmart, and employees paged the woman to return it. When the woman got her wallet back, the $100 she had in the wallet was gone.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.

Mustang damaged

Police were called to Walmart Dec. 11 after a woman reported damage to her car.

According to the report, an unknown person scratched up her Mustang while it was parked in the parking lot.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
