Also featured was the first annual “Rose Osborne Award” presented to Rose Osborne. Mrs. Osborne has been a long time resident of White Lake Township. From her home on Highland Road, she served many years as a dispatcher for the Volunteer Fire Department. Her late husband, Bud, was a Captain on the department. Rose has also contributed countless hours of assistance for the annual White Lake Goodfellows campaign each Christmas season.

This award is named the “Rose Osborne Award” in honor of the many years of service she has given this community. It will be presented each year to a White Lake Township citizen who unselfishly contributes to the community and charitable causes throughout the year.
