Woman's Cause of Death Determined; Vandals Strike Over the Weekend
Here's a roundup of recent incidents handled by White Lake Township police.
White Lake Township police have ruled that the death of a 49-year-old White Lake resident was likely of natural causes.
The woman was found dead in her bathtub on June 30 by her boyfriend, according to Chief Edward Harris.
"We got the autopsy results back and there was nothing unusual, no water in lungs or anything," Harris said.

Harris said the man will likely be cited for reckless driving, or failure to stop. According to Harris, the man told police on the scene that he fell asleep behind the wheel before crashing into a motorcycle stopped at the traffic light.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Vandals strike neighborhood, cut down tree
Police are looking for any information on a series of destructive incidents that happened between Saturday and Sunday.
Harris said several mailboxes were damaged; a boat was pushed across a lawn into a neighboring lawn while in its trailer and scratched; a rock was thrown through the back window of a vehicle; plants were torn up; and a 10-foot-tall pine tree was cut down with a chainsaw taken from a home down the street.
All incidents happened on Newport and Rosario in White Lake. While damage estimates are not final, Harris said the vandalism totaled at least several hundred dollars.
Harris said police are following up on leads and evidence left at the scene, but he asks anyone with information to call White Lake police at 248-698-4400.
