Red Cross Blood Drive

A Red Cross blood drive takes place from noon-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 in the community room of the Highland Township Library.

The event is sponsored and coordinated by Girl Scout Troop #842.

Walk-in donors are always welcome, or call Kris at 248-889-3454 to make an appointment (donors with an appointment will be taken ahead of walk-ins). Last walk-in will be taken at 5:30 p.m. Make sure you bring your Photo ID (with birth date) or your Donor Card.

Child care will be provided for donors.

donors will all receive a $5.00 Starbucks Gift Card at the blood drive when they sign in The day before Thanksgiving is the highest blood transfusion day of the year. It's all but certain that that the supply at The American Red Cross and local hospitals will be depleted. Also, The American Red Cross does not collect blood on Thanksgiving
