Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Infrastructure Investment

Area businesses are all invited to attend a ribbon cutting event at noon Monday, Aug. 1 at the White Lake Township Offices to celebrate the state's investment in our infrastructure.

Work is scheduled from August 15-Nov. 15, with a cost of more than $4 million. It includes: 

-Resurface M-59 between Tipsico Lake and Williams Lake roads.

-Modernize the signal at M-59 and Hickory Ridge Road (west of Milford Road).

-Signal upgrades and new ramps between Tipsico Lake and Williams Lake roads.

-All resurfacing will be restricted to overnight hours (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

-Intermittent lane closures may be necessary, but will not occur weekdays between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. or 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

-Lane closures are not allowed on westbound M-59 prior to MSU home football games.
