Kowall, Crawford Move on to November Election
Current Rep. Eileen Kowall (R-White Lake) will take on challenger Tom Crawford (D) in November.
In a battle for the 44th House seat, incumbent state Rep. Eileen Kowall (R-White Lake) will likely take on democratic opponent Tom Crawford in the November general election.
The 44th District covers the communities of White Lake, Highland, Milford, Waterford and Springfield Township.
Kowall was uncontested in the primary and unofficially received 10,776 votes, or 99 percent, with 41 of 41 precincts reporting.

Crawford beat challenger Mark Venie with 65 percent of the vote, or 2,025 votes. With 41 of 41 precincts reporting, Venie received 1,072 votes.
