  • David McManamon, owner of White Lake restaurant . He lists his residence as Highland.
  • Matt Sprader, owner of .
  • Anthony Young, bulk driver for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group.
  • Greg Baroni, current township trustee and retired from General Motors after 34 years in management.
  • William Pierson, attorney for Oakland County, handling lawsuits and municipal law issues.
  • David Theisen, broker for Residential Property Cosultants. He handles titles, appraisals, brokerage and consulting.
  •  Justin Columbus, owner and lead attorney for Justin Columbus, P.L.L.C.

The township has two township trustees interested in the position, Baroni and  Powell, but the board has been split in a 3-3 tie the last four times they've voted to appoint either Baroni or Powell.

The board has until Feb. 14 to fill the vacancy before the county would step in and call for a special election. If a special election is called, the White Lake contingent of the county's Republican and Democratic parties will select one candidate each to run for the position. Anyone else interested will have to run as a write-in.
