VIDEO: White Lake Hires New Police Officer

Meet Michael Zorza, the the newest White Lake police officer.

At Tuesday's White Lake Township Board of Trustees meeting, Police Chief Edward Harris conducted the swearing in ceremony for the township's newest police officer, Michael Zorza.

With the newest hire, the first of this year and second in six months, the department now sits at 23 sworn officers on duty. Harris said the department has budgeted for 26 officers, but there is currently one officer off for injury and the other two positions have not been filled.
