Watch: White Lake Officials and Firefighters Sworn In

Four-year terms on the Township Board of Trustees officially kicked off Tuesday night.

The four-year terms of incumbent and newly-elected officials on the White Lake Township Board of Trustees were sworn into duty on Tuesday night, along with a new White Lake Fire Department sergeant and three on-call firefighters.

Among those sworn in by District Court Judge Joseph Fabrizio (52nd District, 2nd Division) were:

  • Supervisor Greg Baroni
  • Clerk Terry Lilley
  • Deputy Clerk Cathy Derocher
  • Treasurer Mike Roman
  • Deputy Treasurer Lisa Reaser
  • Trustee Carol Burkard
  • Trustee Rik Kowall
  • Trustee Scott Ruggles
  • Trustee Andrea Voorheis

The Nov. 6 election results in White Lake showed three incumbent board members returning for another four-year term: Baroni, Lilley, and Burkard. All three encouraged support of the new board members on Tuesday night.

"In every situation that you encounter during your time on the board, there is always two sides to every story," Lilley said. "I would encourage you to consider each and every decision that you make over the next four years."

Lilley swore in new Fire Department Sgt. Jason Crean, as well as new, on-call firefighters Brett Burmeister, James Gilletly and Nick Ross.
