Change is Coming to White Lake and Highland
Rick Hamill and Doug Bourgeois will face off in November for the Highland Supervisor seat. In White Lake Greg Baroni and Michael Smith will fight to be White Lake Supervisor.
The results are in, and while unofficial, residents in White Lake and Highland are expected to welcome new board members and elected officials.
In Highland, because there was no democratic challenger, both and have won the seats as the clerk and treasurer, respectively, for the next 4 years.
For the top seat in Highland, (R) and Doug Bourgeois (D) will run against each other for the supervisor position in November.

With 12 of 12 precincts reporting in White Lake, incumbent (R) and (D) will battle for the White Lake Supervisor position in November.
With no democratic challengers, incumbent (R) and newcomer (R) won their seats as clerk and treasurer respectively.

The White Lake Township trustees for the next four years will likely be incumbent along with Scott Ruggles (R), and Rik Kowall (R). In Highland, the board trustee will likely be , , and .
On Facebook, Highland's Howe, a government teacher, thanked his supporters, "I look forward to being a public servant for the citizens of Highland," he wrote.
