White Lake Precincts Report Slow But Steady Turnout

The polls opened at 7 a.m., but only a few precinct in town have broken 100 voters.

Precinct workers at 's fourth precinct have reported a slow but steady stream of voters since 7 a.m. -- a trend reported by White Lake Patch readers throughout precincts in White Lake.

With more than 10,700 registered voters, and more than 1,700 absentee ballots issued, voter turnout was expected to be between 23 and 28 percent -- average for primaries in White Lake according to Ashley Amburgy, election specialist for the township.

On White Lake Patch's Facebook Page, readers have been sharing all morning their voting number and precinct:

  • At 9 a.m., Darrin Davis was voter number 48 at precinct 5.
  • Also at 9 a.m., Amanda Larson Rehm was voter 57 at precinct 7.
  • At 10:30 a.m., Robert Bakula was voter 107 at 10:30 a.m.

Polling sites will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. There are 12 sites in White Lake:
