White Lake's Eileen Kowall Announces Run for Re-Election

Republican State Rep. Kowall will run in the newly redistricted 44th district that include White Lake, Highland, Milford and a portion of Waterford.

The following is a press release from Eileen Kowall.

Two-term State Representative Eileen Kowall (R-White Lake) today announced that she is running for re-election in the newly redistricted 44th District.

The 44th District is comprised of Springfield Township, White Lake Township, Highland Township, Milford Township and a portion of Waterford Township.

"During my two terms in the State House, I've made the hard decisions today in order to give our families a better future tomorrow," Kowall said.

"I've sponsored legislation to lower taxes, cut spending and shrink government. I've written legislation to unshackle our entrepreneurs from job-killing red tape so they can grow and create jobs. And it's working: Michigan is beginning to turn around. Our economy is growing again. Businesses are hiring. And families are beginning to have hope in the future again. It's on this record of proven accomplishments that I'm proud to announce that I'm running for re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives," Kowall said.

Kowall is one of the more prolific members of the legislature, authoring sixty-one pieces of legislation and five public acts.
