The letter states:

Dear Walled Lake Northern Parents and School Community,

Unfortunately, I’m writing to let you know there was a second threat made today, similar to the one last week.

Fortunately, with the assistance of the security cameras and a thorough investigation, the student, has been identified, confessed to both incidents and is in the custody of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department.

As I mentioned previously, we will prosecute to the full extent of the law. Walled Lake Schools and Northern High School administration takes all threats seriously working cooperatively with local law enforcement officials.

Please have a conversation with your student about the dangers of making a threat and the significant disruption this causes others.

As always, we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our students and school community.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Greg Diamond

Principal
