Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The entire community is cordially invited to Walled Lake Schools' Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration.

  • 5 p.m. — Multicultural dinner sponsored by the district's PTSAs begins at 5 p.m.
  • 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. — Student projects on display from all 21 schools focusing on this year's theme, "A Beautiful Symphony of Brotherhood."
  • 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. — The six-piece jazz band Jazzistry will perform, followed by student choir performances and a presentation of the District Friend of Diversity Awards.
