Stained Glass — Lead Came

This Huron Valley Council for the Arts class is taught in one five-hour session by Diane Banister at Highland Station House.

Students will learn the lead came method of stained glass. Each will leave with a completed panel ready to hang. A basic design will be made using beveled, clear and colored glass. Students may choose from a variety of colored glass. Students will learn how to cut and grind glass, stretch and cut lead came, assemble glass and lead came panel, solder lead came, cement finished panel and clean and polish panel with whiting. Instructor will provide all materials.

Lab fee: $20 due at class
