It was all about being green at Beverly Elementary School this week, which celebrated America Recycles Week (Nov. 12-16) by showing off their artistic side.

Beverly art teacher Tony Fink taught first through third grade students how to create art projects using recycled materials, including: spinning tops from recycled CDs, tree pictures from recycled magazines and buttons, and name signs from recycled magazines and wallpapar samples.

Do you have photos of Birmingham to share? Upload them to the Birmingham Patch Pics & Clips gallery and we could feature them on Patch!
