Huron Valley Schools to Host College Night

White Lake's Lakeland High School will host the annual event that aims to help parents and students learn more about the college options available.

The following is a press release from Huron Valley Schools.

The Career Centers of and Milford High Schools invite high school students and their parents to College Night on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. This free exhibit is open to the public and will be hosted at Lakeland High School, 1630 Bogie Lake Road, White Lake 48383 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the old gym. It offers families a chance to learn about college admissions requirements, costs, financing options, and scholarship opportunities. Representatives from more than 70 public and private colleges and universities, as well as trade schools and the military, will be available to answer questions and provide information about their programs.

The countdown for researching opportunities available after graduation starts early in high school. Knowing the admissions requirements of post-secondary institutions can keep students focused on their goals throughout high school and reinforces the importance of appropriate course selections. Visit College Night 2012 and explore the world of possibilities!
