Lakeland 2012 Prom Fashion Show: A Black Tie Affair
Students gathered Tuesday night to model the latest in Prom fashions at Lakeland High School.
’s Leadership Program hosted the 7th Annual Prom Fashion Show on Tuesday evening in the Center for the Performing Arts. “A Black Tie Affair” was this year’s theme for the fashion show featuring 10 couples from the class of 2012. Men’s Warehouse and David’s Bridal provided the tuxedos and prom dresses.
Lakeland Leadership teacher Scott Rolando hosted the show with student Megan Schultz. Rolando said he is very excited to put on the show again this year, "The prom fashion show is set up to draw attention to the prom,” he said.
Over 150 students, parents and grandparents enjoyed the show. Each attendee also had the chance to win raffle prizes provided by area merchants.

This year’s prom will be held on May 31 at Crystal Gardens in Howell.
