Need to Know: Huron Valley School District Alters School Times
Younger and older students won't share buses under the plan that goes into effect for the 2011-2012 school year.
The Huron Valley School District has set the start and dismissal times for the 2011-2012 school year.
According to a release from Janet Roberts, director of community relations for the district, the times have been modified so the elementary, middle school and high school levels are all in their own tiers.
This will allow each of the three levels to have its own transportation routes—meaning high school students, middle school students and elementary school students will not share buses.

"Through increased routing efficiencies, transportation costs will not increase with these changes," Roberts said in the release. "Specific routing information will be shared with parents in August."
