Key to awesomeness: Prey auditioned for the regional Honors Choir that was held at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor. At regionals, he auditioned for the state Honors Choir, according to Cindie Audia who nominated him as Whiz Kid. Audia, with SCN Communications, said approximately 270 students from the state were accepted, and the top 80 were selected to go to the all-state competition May 10-12. Prey will attend the Michigan Youth Arts Festival at Western Michigan University and work with a conductor. He will also perform with the top high school musicians in the state, including instrumentalists and both solo and ensemble vocalists.
